Program Expert Director

Mia was born and raised in southern New Jersey. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. After graduation, Mia moved to Jacksonville and began her career working with children with developmental disabilities. Mia became a Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2003. She worked for the Jericho School, and shortly thereafter, began her own ABA Therapy practice. In short time, Mia became well known in the industry for her work with children with autism and was selected to be the first director of Little Star Center of Jacksonville.

Mia then moved back to New Jersey to begin raising her family. She came back to work, and worked again in private practice. Thereafter, she began working in the public schools setting as a Behavioral Specialist. She never forgot about her time in Jacksonville, and came back with her family in 2017. Since that time, Mia has worked in the St. Johns County School system as a District Behavioral Specialist.

Mia’s love, passion and commitment for working with children continues to shine. She will bring this extensive background to the Board for Spectrum Love. In Mia’s spare time, she is usually on a sports field watching her boys play lacrosse or on the pickleball courts.
